Extra space for our one-to-one Pilates sessions

Clients who have Pilates sessions will now have the benefit of enjoying the whole of our downstairs area. This allows proper social distancing whilst your trainer can guide you through the various exercises.  

Silvia takes our one-to-one Pilates sessions. She is qualified as a BASI instructor incorporating the use of Reformer and Tower equipment, and aims to help restore body awareness by performing small, precise & highly effective movements. She challenges your mind to focus on every inch of your body, and will welcome you with a huge Italian smile and positive energy. Silvia can adapt classical Pilates to more dynamic work outs for those suited to a more intense programme to raise the heart rate & increase strength in targeted areas.

Additional qualifications which Silvia has include:

Pilates through pregnancy:
Exercise recommendations and modifications are dealt with in detail for both pre- and post-natal mothers with special attention to the softening and separation of abdominal muscles.
The Mature or older Client:
Special skills are needed to help keep the mature client active. By applying the correct tools, appropriate exercises, and precautions, clients are safely guided through sessions that will assist them in maintaining an active quality of life.
Pilates for pathologies and injuries:
A Physical Therapy approach to working with clients who have injuries, physical limitations, or movement dysfunctions. Specific injuries and pathologies are examined, and precautions and/or contraindications for these conditions are introduced.
